SUP (Stand Up Paddle), is an already widespread and extra fun way of “paddling around” while floating upright. The only necessary accessories are a board, a paddle and… your hat!.

It works out your entire body. If you do it right (and that’s what we are here for) the results will be well-exercised legs, perfect abs and a strong back. SUP combines aerobics and dynamic exercise while balancing on water offers a great sense of freedom. If you add up the enchanting scenery of the coastal front of Maronia or Fanari and the crystal clear water, you get a complete and highly pleasing sort of exercise which could be a top choice not only while being on holiday but also as a training session during the hot months of summer, when rising temperatures prevent you from visiting the gym.

At KOUPI watersports we offer you various sorts of SUP boards to rent, depending on your body (height and weight), your SUP skill level (novice, intermediate, advanced), your age and the sea and weather conditions.


Training courses

We offer basic instructions to start paddling but we also provide advanced courses to develop your skills.

SUP tours

We organise daily excursions to the coasts of Rodopi you wish to explore, visit places of interest of the region, taste local flavours in taverns and restaurants and… have fun at cultural events.

SUP sport club

We are also in close collaboration with the SUP sports club AETOS. This can offer you or your child the chance of becoming a SUP athlete by being trained under the supervision of certified trainers in order to participate later on in sports competitions of the Greek SUP Association.
